WHAT DID YOU EAT TODAY? (Tuesday)
Hi all...
Looks like there are several strugglers out there, so Dee Dee had the suggestion of holding ourselves accountable, and Marty asked that we start this back up, so here we are!!
For ME today....
Started out great...had a stressful night and it fell off...
Breakfast - ok..yes...it's true...tomato soup...I've been trying to stay liquid for a few days...
Coffee with splenda
Lunch - tomato soup with water.
Snack...ok..here's where the day started falling apart...MORE than a couple of handfuls of redhots. 4 ginger snap cookies..
Dinner...too much drama going on at home for dinner until 10:00!!!!!
Bowl of my homemade beef stew. nummy.
ALL my water... All my vitamins.
Did walk a little today..not much but some.
I have found that I DEFINITELY eat more when I am upset. Not as much when I'm relaxed.
There is a lady on the show Starting Over that had the surgery..she's beautiful but she is struggling with food addiction and it was suggested that she keep an EMOTIONAL eating journal...not just a regular eating journal, but to describe her mood/situation when she ate what she did.
I think I should try.
What did YOU eat today?
OK mine was ok but not great. I still need to work on it to get it right.
Breakfast - Apple
I am real bad at breakfast
Lunch - Boneless skinless chicken breast and a hand full of grapes and a few pepperchini.
snack - cup of grapes and cup of carrots and brocolli
Dinner - Bonless chicken Breast marinated in honey teriyaki over white rice and a few radishes.
Snack - cup of grapes and I'll have another cup of carrots and brocolli later when I get home from work. or maybe just an orange.
Ok I'm doing this. Y'all get on board with me and keep each other honest.

Actually, I'm not eating much lately due to Nausa(sp)
Breakfast: light Strawberry Yogurt
Lunch: 4 Soda crackers
Snack: 3/4 cup Fruity pebbles w/ skim milk ( I know not a great choice, but the Dr. told me Monday if I needed (poop) to go to the bathroom that I could eat Sugar and dump, well that didn't work that way)
Dinner: Tbsp. Roast, 1 carrot, 2 tsp. mashed potatoes, and around 5-6 grapes.
Water: only 40 oz. I still have a problem with this.

Woke up - took my vitamins w/ coffee(that was breakfast)
L - 6" roasted chicken breast sandwich, baked lays and Tea
s - another bag of baked lays (yikes....not good)
d - protein shake and 1/2 if a bbq chicken sandwhich that I did not keep with me :throwup:
not enough water...BOO
Did 1 hour kick boxing and 1 hour free weights total body
gotta work on the water thing!
Yeah! I'm glad we're doing this again, now I actually have to keep up with it!

lunch-half my dinner of mexican from the night before
afternoon snack-protein shake
dinner- homemade chili w/ a few crackers, and a couple glasses of wine
no exercise today
50oz. Of water
all my vitamins!!!!
Breakfast 7:00 a.m.- Protein Drink
Snack- 10:00a.m.- Cheese Stick
Lunch 12:00- 1 slice wheat Bread with 2 oz. canned Chicken
Snack3:00 - Protein Bar
Supper- 1/2 boneless Pork Chop with 2 Tbsp. steamed Squash
had a apple before bed- 9:00p.m
Does this sound Okay??
Also got in all my Vitamins, but not all my water
didn't do any exercise, had gallbladder surgery 1 week ago.

I really like this question but I'm two days late! Ha! It really helps me to see what folks are eating though. I hope you'll do it often. Even though I didn't post it does make me think and be more accountable.
I can say for the last two night AFTER dinner, I've not had any carbs, only fruit. THAT for me is an accomplishment. I also walked a for 25 minutes during lunch UP and DOWN steep hills in the community my school is located in.
Let's beat the dragon of addiction!
