WLS update!!!!

Hello all! We cashed in my hubby's 401K and got the COBRA insurance. I have my surgery date for March 14, 2006. My pre-op is on March 3, 2006. I realized today that I'm really nervous now!!!!

Hi Jenean! I'm so excited for you! My last appointment with Ginny is on the 14th, so after that I'll be submitting to insurance. Did your husband work at NOK by chance? Mine does, so I'm hoping that the insurance there still approves. I ended up seeing Dr. Procter and really liked him. Did you ever find that walking park in Cleveland? Please keep us posted! Hi Julie! Thanks for your support! Yes, the morning after my husband was fired Debbie from Obesity Solutions called to tell me BC/BS approved the surgery and she needed to set up a surgery date for me. It took about 2 weeks for the approval. Once it's submitted from the doctor's office, start calling BC/BS 7 days after to check on the status of your approval. I'm glad you like Dr. Proctor; everyone seems very helpful! Yes, I found the walking park. Thanks again, and I'll talk to you soon! Jenean

Congrats on your new beginning in life! Being nervous now is absolutely normal. I can tell you one thing for sure: you've got great surgeon. Dr. Richard was my original Dr., although I ended up having actual surgery by Dr. Procter due to scheduling issues. I hope everything goes well for during surgery and in recovery , and then in your journey that comes after that. all the best to you hugs, Rita.
