Kim, I'm glad you are better. And hopefully Pevacid is going to be all that you need to get rid of this problem for good. Of note:have you been tested for H.pylori prior to surgery or now? H.pylori is relatively common, yet treatable kind of "bug" that's associated with causing Stomach ulcers and even certain stomach cancer. My surgeon tests all before WLS, and those who test positive have to have treatment prior to surgery. I did test positive for it, but got the treatment. And thank you for your kind words, and we certainly should meet at one of the get togethers one day. A couple of weeks ago we were driving through Perry on a way back from a conference I had to go to, and we even stoped to grab a bite in Perry...so I waslooking around to see if you'd be in there..)
