Labs.....

Any of Peactree Surgical and Bariatrics patients out there, know how often you have your labs done. I want my PCP to handle that part of the journey so she knows how things are with labs because of my meds I am on. Can any one help me with this? I am only 6 weeks out but I need to find out, I go for my 3month check up with Dr. Hobson on April 11th. Thanks. Hugs, Lynda

I think we do them when we go back. But I am taking it to my PCP Atlanta Medical is not getting anything from again. Love Ya Heather

Lynda, I had my labs done at my check ups, But last time I went in like getting my b-12 shots only now my PCP can give them to me and I was also told to have my labs checked agin since when I went for my 6 month post op my blood count was high they told me to have my PCP start moinitering them.I have been wondering how you are doing.. You should atleast do it every 3 to 6 months for the first year and then go to every six months when you go see dr hobson just ask him and then make sure that you get copies to send to the office..

Peachtree did not do mine at 3 months, they told me they will do them at my 6 month checkup. I would have liked them done at 3 months though.

I have not had mine done since surgery either.I had surgery on Sept.14th I suppose they will do them when I go back for my 6mo. check up in March. Tonya pre-op 275 current 205 goal 160

Hi Lynda, I don't have P'tree Surgical, but I am required to have my labs done every 6 mos...from here on out. Good luck!!
