MOVING 2 GA... WANNA B FRIENDS???

Hey guys... my husband excepted a position at Clayton State University so we are moving back to Georgia. We plan on moving in about a month. We will be staying with my mother for about 6 months... she lives in Douglasville... that way we can look for a house and I can look for a good job. We plan on buying a home in Henry county. Would like to live in the Newton Grove school District! I need some work out buddies. I am a member of Curves so I will transfer my membership to Douglasville! I would love to fnd a work-out buddy. Even someone to go walking with!!!! I really would love to find a good support group that I can relate too and depend on! I have a great one here in Fayetteville and I know without them I wouldn't have been so successful! I would love to hear from you guys who live in Douglasville or the surrounding areas... like Austell, Villa Rica, Carrollton, Bremen... YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE... DON'T BE A STRANGER!!! I am a people person and love having many friends. It is going to be strange moving back and would love to meet some new people. I have been away for almost 7 years! I hope to get some responses! Hey Jennifer, First I am WAY to down to earth so hope you can deal with that if you take me up on my offer. Second, I live in Jonesboro which is 1 exit from henry county so perhaps we can find a school or something to walk in. I need a friend also to keep me motivated so I am emailing you my tn # I am not to close to Douglasville but we can perhaps comprimise depending on your responsises to this thread. I dont mind driving as its not to far and living in ATL U just get used to the commute... -NAT

Thanks for the posts! I hope more of you post! I look forward to my move. My hubbie and I have been packing up boxes all evening. We are so excited. His NEW boss called tonight. They will finalize everything Monday morning. My hubbie & I have been trying to find the right way to tell our employers that we will be leaving. They can't blame us or have hurt feelings for us because we want to.... 1. Better ourselves... move up in our Careers and... 2. Move back home to our family So hopefully it will be easy! Thanks! I can't wait to get back. The house is practically packed up and we are not even sure when his start date is... Needless to say... we are ready to get out of Fayetteville, North Carolina and get our butts back home where they belong! Are there any good support groups in the Henry County area?
