WLS Seminar @ Emory tommorrow- What do you think?

I'm scheduled for the WLS seminar tomorrow night @ Emory. I've read lots of the postings here, but rarely hear anything about the surgeons at Emory. The reason I'm going to Emory is because I have a coworker that used Dr. Khaitan and she's had a very good experience with everything. Has anyone here had any experiences dealing with Emory or their physicians? I hate to base my decision on one persons experience. Thanks!!!!

You made a good choice. I had surgery with Dr Lin in July 05. I am too am surprised that more people do no go with Emory. I had check a few other doctors and they were the best at Emory. They really make sure that this is something that you want to do. Their office is staff is kinda of a pain, but it is well worth it for a great doc.

Hi Michelle: I had my surgery at Emory with Dr. C. Daniel Smith. I love Dr. Smith and have had good results; his office staff is another story, but as I have said on my profile they are not the ones doing the surgery. They are slow, slow, slow and not very helpful. But since I am an Emory employee and I have Emory insurance, I thought I had a better chance of getting approval by staying within my Emory resources. When I went to the seminar, Dr. Lin gave the seminar and I liked him alot, he was very genuine. I have a friend who used Dr. khaitan at Crawford Long and was pleased.
