gallbladder surgery.....
Yes, I do alot of lifting at work, I work on a special ed. school bus & i have to load & unload the kids in wheelchairs, and I have to pick up the back of their wheelchairs & slide them into their lockdown position on the bus. It's a strain, but 4 weeks is okay with me, I only do it for the extra spending $$$ & only make minimum wage, so what little i miss will be okay.
Thanks, Tammy G
I have a desk job, but I was on medical leave for two weeks. I really could have used an extra week to get back to feeling my best. Just a word of caution: the bathroom will be your most used room when you get home. To paraphrase a friend of mine after her gall bladder surgery, "If poop were gold, I'd be a millionaire!"

I have an appt with my surgeon on Monday to find out what day my gallbladder will be coming out. Surgeons office said I'd only be out of work a week max as long as it could be done laprascopically. And thats what I am aiming for...
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for a safe surgery, and speedy recovery...
Hugs,
Susan
