Plastic Surgeon Info? Your Area?

Hey Folks, Looking for some specific Plastic Surgery Info. Anyone in the Memphis Tennessee, Atlanta Georgia, or Birmingham Alabama areas that has had PS work done there? I'm fortunate to have insurance that has a history Of fully covering this exact procedure. I'm hoping to have a Panneculectomy or Abdominoplasty this summer. I'm specifically looking for a surgeon with experience with Bariatric patients Who also accepts insurance coverage. (Much to my surprise, most don't even take it if you have Iron clad coverage.) If you have had dealings with a PS That does accept insurance, I would love to contact them. Any info would be appreciated. Best Wishes- Dx

Dx, I agree with Sherry...I know several people personally and from this board that have used Dr Wang-Ashraf and have been very satisfied with her work. She seems to be highly recommended in this area. One of my friends that had PS with Dr WAng-Ashraf, originally went to a PS Dr in Savannah and he messed her up, Dr Wang fixed all his mistakes and more and she looks great. My friend was a challenging patient also b/c she lost almost 200 lbs and had losts of excess skin, but Dr Wang did a great job on her. Good Luck, Tonya

Hi there. I can definitely recommend Dr Ashraf. She uses BCBS of GA... but Will take other insurances if you have out of network coverage. Please email me privately for more information on this. I run a local support group, where she has come to speak. as well as referring many patients to her. I used Dr. Ashraf as well and woudl HIGHLY recommend her to anyone that can use her. Her bedside manner and her talents speak volumes!!! I had my TT approved with BCBS and now have Aetna - and will continue to use her as an out-of-network doctor because I like her so much! Good luck to you! Dee Dee
