I am a diabetic post-op, and for weeks after 3 to be exact, my blood sugar were running about normal. Than my PCP change my blood pressure medicine, and lowered another. The new b/p med is not supposed to make your blood sugars drop. But since I started it is graudually making my blood sugars go up, like I mean this am they were 212 and noon 246, and before supper 276. This has got me upset, because they were doing so good before the med was changed. Need less to say I am not a happy camper. Has anyone else went through this, after all in most cases the blood sugar goes down, and most times in the normal ranges again. Should I call my PCP and let her know of this problem, she always thinks everything is in my mind, because I am also bi-polar, but this is not in my mind and I am worried. Please some one help me. I don't what to do, I am not eating that much at 4 weeks out, and drinking my protein drinks and water, also I change from the liquid vitamins to the pills and started my iron pills, too. Hugs, Lynda
