Moving to West Ga./Douglasville Area

I might be moving back home to Douglasville and I was wondering if there is a good support group in the West Georgia/ Douglasville area. I am 14 months post op and I want to find a good supportive group of people I can talk to. We have a great group here in North Carolina... and I don't think I would have been such a success without them! I hope you guys can help me! Please post and let me know... even if it is 30 minutes away from Douglasville... My hubby will be working in Morrow at Clayton State University... Douglasville is temporary until we can find a house somewhere in between. So I am open to suggestions! Thanks so much guys... Jennifer Wright

Have you lived in Douglasville long? I was born and raised in Douglasville. I moved away about 6 years ago when I got married. I went to DCHS... graduated 1990. My Maiden name is Fitzpatrick. Just curious. My family is what you would call... "OLD DOUGLASVILLE people"..... I find that funny. Anyway...shoot me an email back! Jennifer

The only one I know of is near Northside hospital near 285 and 400. They meet the 2nd Thursday of the month @ 5:30. I'm just starting to look into this though so I don't know much about what support groups are available. I have a website for them at work. I can post it on Thursday when I go back.
