Will not be tucked

Insurance denied any plastics, so it looks like I will just be getting a full hsyterectomy on 3/9..... No TT with it My worse feature are my thighs, so now that I have to self-pay, I am thinking about "picking one", and having my thighs lifted- if he can do it about 2 weeks later...this way I only have one recovery period. Maybe I can get hubby to pay for the breasts next year, but a TT is not in my near future. But, with the hysterectomy I am going to be pushed into menopause, and with my temper, hubby may not live until next year . Oh well....What's a little jiggle in the belly? It worked for Santa Claus

Maureen, I'm sorry to hear about no TT, but I sure do like your sense of humor about it. Melissa

Well I sort of figure that at 47 years old, no matter how hard I try I am not gonna look like 18, or be fully satisfied. Time to suck it up, and just realize this is me I am a little disappointed though, but will get by. Now to find out if I can wrangle up some money for the Sharpei thighs

Maureen, I'm sorry it doesn't to seem to work out the way you wanted, but I'm sure there is a reason, and there is a plan for it in a future maybe. I hope that your histerectomy goes smoothly. hugs, rita

Did they give you reason? Can you appeal? Do you have "medical" reasons to be tucked? (Large pannus, rashes, back pain etc.) I'm glad to see you're at least positive about this..... Dee Dee

Unfortunately (or fortunately), I have had no real "medical reasons" . I was half expecting the denial, but thought it was worth the shot. I am trying to find out if how soon after the Hysterectomy I can have a thigh lift. It I only have to wait a week or two, I think I am going to self-pay on that. My thighs are the WORSE. I am trying to keep my time off work to a minimum, and would love to coordinate the healing periods. Maybe TT next year. Guess I will have to start documenting some medical issues. Do you think a daily brillo scrub to give myself a rash would work ??

No plastics at all right now.. Because I am having an abdominal hysterectomy, I cannot have plastics for at least three months after. They need my blood to build back up between surgeries. I am hacing a consultation on the thighs anyway.. Maybe I can steal a couple of weeks off in June or July and get these done. The saga continues............
