OT - Good car news - finally!!

I finally got a "new" car on Friday. It's an 02 Dodge Grand Caravan (the wrecked one was a 97). It's got the power sliding door & liftgate and power seat adjustment - nice. It's taken us since the Sat. after Thanksgiving to get the settlement from the insurance company. Actually, we are STILL waiting for the check!! I can't wait until the "pain & suffering" part of this deal. The other guys insurance company did a number on us and our lawyer, so he intends to get everything possible out of them! Terry, by DH, is still sore and has to see the orthopedic surgeon next. Now that he has his truck back (I've been driving it to work for the last six weeks!!), he can go. We are getting the old van back too and Terry hopes to fix it up for one of the kids. The biggest expense for getting it fixed would be the labor. As long as the frame isn't bent, he's going to try to do most of the work himself (with the kids help) and get it back together. It needs a new radiator, hood, one front panel and the mounts for the front bumper/panel. Anyway, I've been working extra and going nuts lately hoping this would all work out.
