Wow. It's hard to believe so much has happened in so little time. I went for my psych eval and got clearance. Yay!! My PCP's office has copied all the data requested and mailed it to my surgeons office. It hasn't arrived yet, but they said that it takes a while because they route their mail through the hospital. Hopefully they will get it early next week. I'm scheduled for my evaluation at the Rehabilitaion Center to help with an excersice program tomorrow. I'm really excited about this as I am motivated to training, but want to make sure I'm doing it right so I don't get hurt and have to stop. The only set back I've had so far is that I wore a pulse ox meter for a night and it showed my oxygen levels dropped 120 times while I was sleeping. It wasn't a huge drop (83 was the lowest reading), but it was enough to warrant a sleep study. The girl was wonderful and found a cancellation on Saturday night so I can get that out of the way too. She said it takes about a week to get the results. If if shows sleep apnea, I'll have to wear a CPAP for 3 weeks before I can have my surgery. I went to the education seminar Dec. 14, 2005. So logistically, I'm pretty far along. Especially when you consider that the Christmas and New Year holiday were in that time span. God has a plan. I'll follow it. He knows what He's doing better than I do.
