My PCP is giving me a hard time. HELLLPPPPP!!!!!!!

Will someone please refer me to a PCP in the Perimeter or Smyrna Area. My PCP is about to send me thru the roof. She is telling me that she will need a letter from the surgeon's office stating what procedures need to be done by my PCP such as an EKG, Medical Clearance, etc. because the my insurance will need it whick I think is crap. All I need from her is a Medical Necessity Letter and Medical Clearance but she still needs a letter from the surgeon. Will someone please help me?

Tikeya, I go to Atlanta Family Practice Associates. They are off of Chamblee Dunwoody Road. (770) 454-0091. I didn't have any problems getting a letter - there are a couple of doctors but I recommend Dr. Seyfried, he is awesome. HTH! Beth

Well he/she could be saving you some money. You will need an EKG, Blood work, CXR, and propably other tests before your surgery. Your doc could be pro-active in the process. He/she will want to do test for the clearance so why not get it all done in 1 swoop, especailly if you are planning to have the surgery in the next month or two.
