That is a good point...I have been forgetting to take my extra iron. Thank you.

Hi, Stephanie, I have had and continue to have the same symptoms when I'm low on iron. At the six month check up, Peachtree did the blood work through AMC (Warning - be sure that you get blood work orders BEFORE 5:00, or you'll have to go back...maybe you could try for an earlier appointment. Mine was for 3:30.) I also have my blood work done by my PCP since it is closer to home. TBH, I still am not sure what the correct levels are. I don't know what all of those abbreviations mean. My PCP is not experienced with WLS, so she checks for general health issues. I am always told that I am low on iron...yet I still forget to take it. I really wish we could take iron at the same time we take multi-vitamins. My multi-vitamin has iron, but I need the supplement. It might be a good idea to call Peachtree or your PCP to get your bloodwork done now. Being light-headed is a horrible way to be, and you need to know what it means! Please call! Hugs, Becky

Thank you, Becky. You know, I upped my protein a lot yesterday, and I felt much better yesterday afternoon, and I feel much better today. I'm drinking a protein shake right now. It doesn't seem to be making me too nauseous. I'm going to try to drink one when I get up and one when I get home. That will give me 40-50g from protein supplements. Shoot...I should even see weight loss again. Oh, and I started back to the gym. I did an Interval class last week, and I'm planning on doing 2-3 classes this week: Group Kick, Interval and water fitness. Wish me luck. I have been away from the gym for quite some time now. Thank you for your suggestions and support. I will definitely keep an eye on it. Steph
