Ohhh I love the festival. I bought a 3x costume with all the accessories back before WLS. Do you think I can get it resized? lol. I haven't tried it on but I bet it practically HANGS off my now haha. This sounds like FUN! Kia

Marty, Any weekend would be okay for me. I have always wanted to go but haven't due to all the walking etc but this year I would love to go and take the kids. They would love it too

Hey Marty, This sounds like so much fun. Steve wants to know where this event is being held and is there an availability to get a motel room (if it is far away from where we live) and what are the hours the festival is open etc... If we can finagle it, we will definately be there!!! Especially now that I am a 98 pound loser (so far)!!!! It is so much easier to walk and so fun to enjoy being out and about with others. Thanks Beth for posting the site. Hotels are easy to get in the area. It is held in Fairburn just a mile off I-85 which I believe is exit 61 (Hwy-74) There are a few Hotels in Union City which is right up the road or there are several a few exits south in Newnan. Either way a hotel will not be an issue

I'll do some research tonight and get a list of local hotels and prices listed for those that want to book. Now I can't wait till April 15th. Anyone want to join me on the 15th for opening day? Thinking I may grow a beard or goatee this year for the fest.

Question--I would love to attend, but I wonder if there are lots of benches/seats as I have difficulty getting around. I have a wheelchair but HATE to use it unless it is absolutely necessary! I hope this will be possible for me! Sandy S.
