Thank you for responding to my message on the forum: I am in the process of having Lapband surgery----live in North Atlanta. Is there a surgeon out there that you feel is the best for the job? Also is there anyone out there from South Carolina, Charlotte NC, or Georgia/Atlanta that is willing to be part of my support, being that you are already on the losing side? I went through a good bit of pre-op with Dr. Ponce until my insurance bailed, and had an excellent experience with him. I am currently deciding between lap banding and DS, but I would definately choose him if I go with the lap band. P.S. I'm a Gentleman

Hi--I have a LapBand from Dr Fromm in Dalton (Dr Ponce's group) and they are great there; I have had a wonderful experience overall. Dr. Ryland Scott does Lapbands and RNYs where I work here in Rome and his patients like him and his office too. Just ask me anything you want to know and I will tell all! Jill
