I have a cold.... need advice

I have a terrible cold, and just got over a terrible stomach bug too. I think these things are being passed around at my office. I was wondering if I should go see my PCP or if I should try some over the counter meds and see if they help. I feel terrible, all I want to do is sleep, and I don't feel like eating anything! I have a cough, sore throat and I am coughing up green yuck. Thanks for the advice, Carla

It sounds like brochitis you need to get a z-pack from your PCP. Before it develops into something worse. Heather

MINE DR HAS ME TO TAKE COLD TYLENOL.AND I ALSO WENT TO THE HERB STORE AND GOT ME SOME PEPPERMINT OIL AND PUT 2 DROPS IN A WARM CUP OF WATER IT HELPS ME WITH THE COUGH AND ALSO UPSET STOMACH.IT WILL OPEN UP YOUR NOSE TOO.I DRINK THIS 3 TIMES A DAY.BUT I WOULD CALL YOUR DR.TO GET ADVICE

Hi, Carla, Tylenol Cold makes me feel better (one capsule instead of two). With the green stuff, it sounds like you have an infection and that may require antibiotics. I would go see your PCP, or at least, call. I have a feeling that they will want to see you. I hope you feel better soon! Hugs, Becky
