Update on me

Hiya Georgia gang! I just wanted to post a quick update on my progress. I went to the doctor yesterday, six month check up at 7 months, you know how it is. I have been havig alot of eating issues and come to find out I have a #&%@* stricture! He said it is not all the way closed but is severely restricted. He is trying 2 medicines to sooth and shrink the lining of the pouch but if there is not improvement in 4 weeks or gets any worse after 10 days they are going to have to scope me. I truly do not want the scope thing but I almost wish he would just do that and get me fixed! He also said I am dehydrated! That explains my tiredness and lethargy. humph! I thought this was stuff that happens to early post ops, not at 7 months out! At least I know the cause of all my eating issues. People a month out are eating more than me and I've been like.. what the heck...! oh, and I'm down 112 pounds! Doc said he would expect that at a year, not 7 months, so needless to say, I'm thrilled with that part of the surgery! Only problem I have is not knowing what size clothes to buy, I drop a size every 3-4 weeks. I fit into size 16 pants yesterday and am wearing just regular xl shirts, with plenty of room! I have never worn regular size clothing! As always, my heart goes out to each and everyone of you. You all make this a wonderful board to come through. Thank you. May God bless you, Barb
