Hey, i am finally home, got home yesterday afternoon, i am really sore still, but no that bad! just tired, you sure don't get any rest in the hospital. I finally got some rest last night, i was just up getting me some water and thought i would let everyone know i am home.

Welcome home. What a great day to have surgery. That was my birthday. I hope you are felling good. Your are going to be sore for a few days, but you will be fine. Remember....walk,walk,walk.....sip,sip,sip. Don't do to much and take your time. Ain't it great to be a LOSER. Your journey as just begun. Welcome to our little world, that is getting smaller every day. Ken Clark 395 in March 362 at post op 299 current

Hi Tammy, I know we used the same doc, I know you will do great! Make sure you are getting up and walking around a bit every few hours to prevent blood clots ok? That is the most important thing these first few weeks. That and sips of liquid. Watered down apple juice worked best for me at first. If there is anything I can help with, please email me. Best wishes on a speedy recovery. oh...and Happy New Year!!! Barb

Welcome to the losers bench! You are now on the road to wellness and let me tell you it goes FAST! I suggest getting/using a camera. You might not want to but later on you will be glad you took lots of pictures. Kia
