The return of WHAT DID YOU EAT TODAY? 10-15-05 & 10-16-05
For those of you who have written me and told me that this was helpful, thank you. While it's true it was self-serving, I was beginning to feel it was an annoyance to folks... I now understand that not everyone is ready to admit what they eat each day, but many do benefit privately from comparing notes with how their day went vs. those who do respond...
SOoooo...with that said...
I have had an up & down week. Yesterday was an unusual day, had a lot going on with my son's marching band - had a marching competition alllll day... AND Susan Bertrand was in my neck of the woods and came to visit - joined me at the competition...

Breakfast - Coffee with splenda & instant creamer
Had a small bowful of low sugar ice cream
Lunch - 8 Chickfila nuggets - large ice tea
Dinner - Cracker Barrell - sampler - meatloaf/country ham/chicken & dumplings - green beans, applesauce, mac & cheese, biscuits.
(NO!! I could NOT eat all of this at a sitting!! I took it home, and nibbled on some of it later, and nibbled on some of it this morning.)

What did you eat yesterday and today??
I do think this is helpful...even if I don't post every day. Let's see if I can remember what I ate yesterday:
Breakfast: a little bit of cereal with skim milk
Lunch: 3/4 of a wendy's chili and some fruit
Dinner: 3 chips with queso dip
Snack: About 5 peanut M&M's (should have never realized I could eat those) and 3 doritos. I know...I know!!!! This was over the time it took us to watch Sahara...good movie, by the way.
So far today, I have had a Crystal Light Sunriser and some cheese grits. I'm heading out for the day (I have to work for little *****ave no idea what will be for lunch...maybe some pintos and cheese or something.

Breakfast
one cup of coffee with Chocolate Coffemate creamer...
one piece of sausage pizza- now for the record, I count this as part of my snack too!
Water...not sure how much, I sip all day..

making up for the pizza from this am, have decided NOT to have the second piece, which is hard...Instead have opted for a piece of boneless pork roast that I roasted the other day in the oven. Instead of the gravy on top(which was homemade with drippings and pretty darn good if I do say so myself) I have opted to dip in mustard. (don't ask- it's really good)
more water...
snack will be most likely cheese and crackers, and my diet coke
Dinner is steak and salad with some kind of pasta dish on the side.

I find this post very helpful ! It gives me some good ideas on food choices, and makes me more aware.
Yesterday
Had 1/2 protein bar for breakfast
Had some peanut butter on crackers for snack
Had two mini lowfat muffins at Curves ( VERY MINI)
Had a Sugar Free Skim Milk Vanilla Iced Latte
D- tuna on low carb wrap
small armour beef stew
ate a handful of jellybeans that were laying around. No more of these for me !
I think that was it
So far today.......
Small bowl of special K lower carb version with 2% milk
Cup of Decaf with Creamer
Sugar free chocholate bar
Sushi- I had a whole rainbow roll and it was GREAT
Not sure if and what there will be for dinner cause I am stuffed from the sushi
Got back into my excercise... walked 4.25 miles this AM on the rec center trail. Have been going to Curves three times a week religiously.... Have lost 11 pounds since joining two months ago, so Iam going in the right direction

I haven't been posting at all on what I have or more important haven't been eating. I have been dealing with some major personal issues and have totally fallen off my diet. I don't get my protein or even come close to a decent diet. I manage it with my old bad habits of not eatiing or not eating healthy. I'm ashamed but can't seem to keep it on track right now. With that being said I haven't gain but I haven't lost in about 2 months. There I've said it. Now I'll sit back and try to figure out why I am doing this to myself again.
