8 month anniversary and century club at last!

I know I have not been able to keep up with the boards lately; nursing school is really hard. Tonight I just put the finishing touches up on a 19 page study of an older adult followed by a 15 minute power point presentation to go along with the paper. (phew). They keep us hopping! Anyway, tomorrow on the 10th is my 8th month anniversary from my Lap surgery and today I finially saw 183 on the scale so that makes me down 101 lbs. I was stuck at 99 lbs for well over 3 weeks and was really getting down about it. I was out of town for a student nursing convention and ate just about everything that wasn't able to run away only to come home and discover this 2 lb. loss. Too funny! Congrats on making the century club!!!! You have done so well with your loss, and especially with having the stresses of nursing school placed on top of it. And isn't it funny how our bodies do sometimes??? On the days when I think I have really fallen off the right track, the scales tell me I wasn't quite as bad as I thought I was. Congratulations on making the century club. Writing about your paper is going to give me flashbacks and bad dreams. Nursing school can be a killer. Just keep your head down and keep working. It will be over before you realize it. My thesis in nurse pract school was about 50 pages on women and their preceived risk of coronary disease. Talk about a boring epic full of statistical data. Just makes me nauseated thinking about it. Good luck with the presentation. denise
