New to GA/Warner Robins Area

Hi all! I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Windy and I'm 17 mos. post op. I'm also 6 mos. pregnant. My pre-surgery weight was 283lbs. I got down to 133lbs pre-pregnancy and am currently holding at 139lbs. I couldn't be more thrilled about having had surgery!! My goal was to reach 145lbs so as you can see, even being prego, I've surpassed that!! And before I get yelled at for not gaining weight since I'm prego, no, I'm not starving myself... I EAT! All the time! I had my surgery in Alaska, my hubby is Air Force. Which is what brings us to this area! So here's my question... I'm looking for a support group in the area. I miss them so much! I feel like I'm sinking and would love to meet people who understand me and more specifically my diet! Anyone else from around here and can help me out? TIA! Windy

Welcome to Warner Robins and welcome to GA. There is a support group that meets at the Flint Electric building on Hwy 96 west of Houston Lake rd. on Tuesday nights @ 6:30 pm. Hi Windy, Welcome to Warner Robins! You definately need to come and join the Mini Me's support group... They are an AWESOME bunch of people I don't make it to every meeting, but I try to get there as often as possible and I truly look forward to and depend on the support I get at these meetings. I hope to see you there on Tuesday, October 18. Remember it is the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Jennifer

That would be awesome! I don't know that I can make it until after Thanksgiving though. My hubby just started a class and he doesn't get home until after 8pm. I would love to get more info though... where is it? And directions would be awesome! Thanks!! Windy
