Update on Sandra

I just got off the phone with Boyce, Sandra came through with flying colors, she didn't go in til around 3 to 4 because of emergency surgeries, but she is doing well, her tissue was paper-thin, so they left a tube in. She will not have the leak test tomorrow. They are hoping that she will go home day after tomorrow, and return next week to have the tube removed. He didn't give me a room number, I tried to call him back but his voicemail came on, but his cell is 770-608-7677 if anyone wants to call him...I'll try to call him later to see what room she is in. Glad to hear she's doing well!

I talked with Sandra this morning, she said she has felt better, She as you know has tubing in her stomach, she said that on the leak test in the OR it was bubbly, so they went ahead a put this tube in, she can have nothing can only have ice chips every 2 hours for the next week til they take her tubing out, but she said a nurse would be coming everyday to put insure in her tube. Hey Melissa...thanks for the update on Sandra...I will keep her in my prayers. Man she had to wait that long to go into surgery ? I bet that was nerve racking huh!

Thanks Melissa for posting and letting us know how Sandra is doing! I am glad she came through with flying colors and will be praying for her speedy recovery. I know first hand about those darn tubes, I just got mine out this past Tues after having it for 3 weeks. Please tell Sandra and Boyce we are all thinking about them! Kelly S
