WHAT DID YOU EAT TODAY? 09-29-05

Well, 2 days of being SUPER good...and then.....today... Ok..the morning started out good enough. Coffee...Low Sugar Quaker Oatmeal - Maple & Brown Sugar A LARGE unsweet tea from Sonic No Snack - Lunch - Mexican Fiesta - ATE TWO MUCH! 2 tacos meat & cheese - some regular nachos - a sopapilla (no honey, just the pastry) Well... I was NOT well after that one. I don't reckon I gained too much from that lunch, cuz let's just sayyy....that it didn't *ahem*..STAY with me for ANY LENGTH of time!! Ewwww...I know. Ok... 3 Dunkin Munchkins... I avoided those durn suckers until about 3pm...ERRRGGHH!! Not sure about dinner yet. Right now, munching on grapes, in order to stay out of the candy jar. Probably will either be a pkg of Buddig turkey meat or a microwave container of Chunky Beef Soup. Another ultra late night at the office...HOPEFULLY the last one for a while. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO burned out and exhausted. Oh yeah, must confess.... when I got home last night, I WANTED those dang Froot Loops SOOOOOOOO bad....but had a handful of wheat thins instead. In fact, had poured enough in to fill a small coffee cup, but only ate a small handful. Threw the rest away in order to avoid eating them later. VICTORIES TODAY: (Late Last night - didn't eat ALL the wheat thins and NONE of the Froot Loops!) - Did NOT order a bacon,ham & egg toaster from Sonic, when I went to pick up a breakfast sandwich for my assistant. ONLY got unsweet tea. - Only ate TWO pkgs of oatmeal. I WANTED three! LOL! - Avoided the stupid munchkin ALL morning. (Course I lost out on this one by the afternoon) - Started to eat another sopapilla - took 2 bites and then THREW the rest AWAY! (I know...shallow victory, but one none the less) (Ok.. I know they don't outweigh the Mexican Fiesta, but I gotta grab a victory where i can get it!) What did you eat, and what did you avoid???

You did just fine girlfriend ! I hear ya about being wore out from work. I cannot keep my eyes open much anymore. I am hoping some of my stress gets better next week. Ok.., I did do better today ! B- srambled egg and 2 slices bacon ( I always start off great) S- Wolfgang puck coffee (100 calories- 9 carbs) L. Subway low carb wheat wrap with turkey, lettuce, tomato...no dressing and 1/2 a bag of chips S- carb control yougurt D- Chicken cutlet parm- no spaghetti- just the chicken breast with some cheese and sauce on it Accomplishments I had no dang chocolate I got in all my protein/vitamins/water I was able to get in my 1/2 hr lunch time power walk I went to Curves on my way home from work I stomped the half bag of chips that were left to avoid rescuing them later I did not eat the chips that were in my office, and moved the stash I had for training class treats to the breakroom, and out of my sight. I have OFF tomorrow, and I am going to be able to get some chores done that have been stressing me to no end. I am going, come hell or high water to the Obesity Solutions support group meeting Saturday I am psyched about going to see my favorite shrink on Tuesday to see why they hell I am so miserable lately Ok I better get to bed soon so I avoid those dang Fig Newtons Love ya !! Hey Girl! I did so good today!! I had 1/2 a tuna sandwich for breakfast, snack-the last 2 of those dang cookies, lunch, 4 baked chicken nuggets, snack-half my protein drink, dinner-other half of my protein drink. I got in 54oz. of water. Did 15min. on the bike, 10 min. on the treadmill, and hardest of all, 10 minutes on the ellipital. Hey, I cannot blame you for the munchkins! There's no way in hell I could have resisted those!!!!! And don't even get me started on Mexican food. I start drinking water to fill myself up as soon as we sit down at the restaurant, otherwise I would eat everything in sight!

b - about 1/3 cup of coffee....I wasn't in the mood for it...but I did eat2 mini cruller donughts. l - beef burrito from taco bell d - slice of freezer queen lasagne and corn. (had to have a vegetable) late snack....MORE M&M cookies...... what a crummy day!!!! On the upside - I went to wally world and was trying on some jeans and fit into a size 10!!!!!!!!!!! O M FREAKING G!!!!!!!! They were 'stretchy' jeans but the fit - and looked good if I do say so myself! I'm gonna try to be better today......but I know I'm gonna be running at lunch today! Dee Dee
