Biotin and calcium citrate ?
How much Biotin and Calcium amounts are we supposed to take? I went to GNC today to stock up, and I got 600mg Biotin (1 per day) calcium citrate 1000mg (Serving 4 per day), but I thought on calcium 500mg was a good dosage. I also got 1000mcg B12 (1 per day) and a chewable multivitamin that contains Iron. They were pricer all totaled $59, but some like the biotin and B12 are for 3 months.

Hi Melissa,
I get all my vitamins and such from Walmart.... a heck of alot cheaper there. My Biotin is Rexall brand, 1500mcg, and it was under $4 for 240 pills. I am now on swallowable (is that a word??? don't think so) vitamins and I break them in half. I got the Equate (Walmart brand) equivalence of Centrum Multivitamin w/ Lycopene. I think it was about $7 for 300 tablets. Same with Calcium Citrate... Equate.. Same for my B-12 sublinuals, Rexall brand under $4
Give Walmart a chance... you might save alot of money...

Susan
Thanks Susan, I had actually bought the Rexall brand B12 at wal-mart before, I like them, just thought I would try GNC's, but you are right they are alot cheaper at wal-mart. All but the Biotin I got at GNC are chewable, I don't think wal-mart carrys chewable Calcium citrate do they? I wanted to start out in the beginning with chewables that's why I went to GNC, plus I thought I might be able to find everything I need in 1 brand like Optisource, but quickly found out NOT. I thought about giving Optisource a try. You live and learn........LOL
