So aggervated
Hi everyone! I am a little fustrated and need to vent just a tad. I have had all my test, been poked and proded and finally have my clearance letter for surgery. My problem now is to get it to the insurance people at my surgeons office. You would think this was an easy task? Think again. I feel that I am getting the run around. The lady I am suppose to send it to I think is on vacation. So I called the main office and really didnt get much help there either. They gave me another name and a phone number that is not a working number. I guess the surgeon already have enough patients and doesn't need anymore? Agghhhh, its so aggervating! I have had my letter for 2 weeks now. I just want to get this show on the road! LOL
Kim, I had the same problems. Call again, and ask to speak to the office manager or anyone else who can help you...today. Don't leave a message. Speak to a person. Keep calling until you get help! The person I left messages with was out on maternity leave. No one ever knew I called! I don't know who the main office people are now, so that's why I suggested asking for the office manager. Be sweet as possible under the cir****tances, but don't give up. After you send the paper work, call until you know it's in your file. Keep copies. Let us know how it goes!
Hugs,
Becky
I spoke to someone today and they gave me a wrong number. I just didn't have time to call back. This painting and moving is driving me nuts. Will be soooo glad when its all over. Then I can focus more on my surgery, then going back to school. Then my sweet darling husband coming home for 14 days. I really want to have the surgery done and on the loosing side before he comes home in November. I am already putting going back to school on hold due to the surgery. Its just time to get this going you know?
Thanks for letting me vent and giving me some advice. My mind right now is mush, lol
I see you are using Dr. Duncan, I am too. I am about to send in my paperwork to the insurance coordinator also, I am just waiting for my doctor's office to get the medical necessity letter finished. Who are you supposed to be sending everything too? I was just wondering who was on vacation in case my stuff gets sent in this week, I am supposed to be sending mine to Tracy. Thanks, Susan
Tracey is the person we are suppose to get everything to. She is great. She has always been right on top of everything for me, but I do not know whats going on. I read that she was at the seminar yesterday. So I don't know???
I have been so stressed out, my husband in Iraq, packing, cleaning, painting, cleaning more, moving and more cleaning. Oh and my great dane acting like a defiant teenager, lol I just dont know how much more I can take. Just would like for atleast one thing to go right, lol
Hey Kimberly, I am also a pre-op with Dr. Duncan's office. Did you try to fax the letter to Tracy? In my experience with the office, faxing seems to be the best way. Fax it over to Tracy's fax, not the general office line and then follow up with phone calls until you confirm that they got it. Good luck!
