Okie guys and gals, I am 11 1/2 weeks out, and dont go see Dr Hart until the end of June for my 3 month follow-up, but I am finding it harder and harder to eat the chewable vitamins. How long should you wait until you can actually swallow the whole pills? I can eat foods without a problem most of the time in regards to meats and all, and I just wondered because some of the pills are not as big as the pieces we swallow. I also have resorted to the B12 injection once a month because I do not feel the b12 sub lingual is absorbing like it should. I get lots of calcium because i eat lots and lots of dairy products, sugar free ice cream, cheese, etc. Oh and another question...I am STUCK!!!! I have been 188 for about 2 weeks now and I working out and doing my diet like I am supposed to....Have I stopped losing or will it start back up??? Help and thanks, D'Lynn 232/188

D'Lynn I am a new post-op with a surgery date of May 31st. I started out with my multi-vit as a chewable, but my calcium and other supplements are pills that I am swallowing. It takes me about 45min to drink my 4oz. of water and take my vits in the morning, but I get it done. I swallow them, but I definitely take it slow and easy. No problems so far. I am actually going to switch my chewable multi-vit to a regular pill because it is so much easier for me. And I hear for reaching plateau's with your weight that you should try increasing your protein, water and excercise. Meaning ride the protein train for a good week!
