Hi I am new!
Hey Michelle!!
First of all, WELCOME WELCOME!!
ALWAYS glad to have new faces here on the Ga. Board!!
I can relate to your depression, and you and I are both blessed that we did/do not have many "co-morbidities" outside the fact of being overweight.
Or at least I THOUGHT I didn't.
PCOS is definitely one, let me ask you, do you snore when you sleep? If yes, you may have sleep apnea, which is another co-morbidity. I did, and now do not.
You mention your weight is affecting your daily life, back problems? Knees? These are all things you want to bring up to your PCP.
I wish you ALL the best, and pray your journey is an easy one!!
Take care!
Tami

Hi Tami!
I cant say enough about this place- 24 hours..and 10 emails! Thank you !
As far as the CO-morbidities, I really am lucky. I dont snore- I could have sleep apnea.. but I show no signs of it what so ever..... ans as far as joint pain, I think my body is just strong! I have been obese for my entire life, so maybe my frame is just used to this weight?
The PCOS.... is one.... my sister has it as well, even though she is rail thin- I am glad to know that PCOS is counted!
Wish me luck! Today is my second step!
Michelle
