I think I've hit a plateau
Hey guys, I'm freaking out a little and am hoping someone can offer some advice. I will be 10 months out on May 6th, and I haven't lost anything since the beginning of April. My scale seems to be going back and forth between 315-320. And of course, since my big goal right now is to get under 300, it's driving me crazy.
I started seriously exercising right about the time I stopped loosing. I am up to 2 miles in the morning with the Walk Away the Pounds tape. And I only started doing a little bit of work with weights about a week ago, so I don't think I've added a lot of muscle weight yet.
I still have 200 more pounds to loose....this can't be it for me! Any suggestions?

Plateaus happen! DON'T freak out. If this is your first one be thankful. You can always increase your protein intake, cut your carbs and don't forget the EVER IMPORTAN****ER!!!!!! Honestly it's what helps me get through my plateaus.
Another thing is if you are exercising at all you MUST increase proten cause your body will absorb all the protein you think you can give it! (Yet - it will do it in only about 30g per meal.) If this dosen't work...go back to basics for a few days....kick start the weight loss again.
You'll be okay.....you're coming to the end of the "honeymoon" period so you have to work more on making the weight come off by good food choices and exercising!
You've done a fantastic job - DON'T PANIC!!!!

Hey Girl!
I'm in the same type boat.... I've been 10 pounds away from getting under 200 and am about to LOSE MY FOOL MIND!!
I did a real gut check, and have gone back to basics.
I REALLY cut the carbs out, didn't realize how many I was actually taking in...they sneak up on you..... increased my protein..and I was drinking all my water with Crystal Light. Just to see if I could get things rolling, I dropped the Crystal light for a while.
Well girl...POOF! There went 5 of those pounds! YIPPEE!! (of course now mother nature is gonna roll into town for a week or so, so I can forget any loss for another week or so...dang it...)
But that's what I would suggest. Take a REAL hard look at your intake of carbs...those suckers are EVIL!!
Start drinking tha****er (ALL OF IT) and watch those pounds FLUSH right away!!!

kelle, you know we had surgery the same time... I had not lost weight in about 2 months , thought I was done... since easter 11 more gone... I just tried not to stress and looked at protien and water intake .... It will happen Kelle dont stress , just do what you know you need to do girlie... You will be fine.....
