Hanging thighs
I am so pleased with my weight loss. I have been melting a little faster lately and am no longer "stuck". I noticed last night when attempting to try on a bathing suit and some shorts, that my thighs now hang. I never wore shorts because I was so large, and now my thighs are hanging to my knees. Sort of like deflated. I am planning on getting some longer shorts so they do not show so badly.
I guess I will never have that 18 year old body that I thought might have been hiding.
I told my husband last night that he better start saving for the boob job I want next year because I am going to have to pay for a thigh job.
Anyone know any good excercises for this?

I know what you are talking about. Seems like everything is heading south. I told my hubby that I needed to stand on my head just to let things fall back into place for once!! Then I can get a picture taken and just rotate it. No one would know the difference!!! I have re-ironed things that haven't had as many wrinkles!
I am just happy about the weight loss and the difference it has made to my health. At 50 I don't expect to have the body of an 18 year old. I'm just trying not to get "hung up" on the crinkles!

Boy do I know how you feel! Starting out at 488, I knew things were going to hang, and I'd need plastic surgery, but dang! So soon? I was walking into my bathroom from the bedroom the other day, headed to the shower, naked of course, and caught myself in the HUGE mirror in my bathroom. Bout scared me to death. I won't be doing that anymore!

ooooh... y'all!!
My dietician asked me if there was anything I was worried about post op. I said all that hanging skin.
Guess that is vain but after being so big all my life...
Of course... the most important thing is to get rid of this weight for my health... right? LOL
Just think how good you will look in the cute capris that are so popular Maureen. And all the light pretty summery colors too!
How 'bout that Suzanne Summers thingy? Probably find that at a garage sale!
And ya know what hon? I bet your healthy smile will outshine those thighs anyway!

Mine have started hanging already too.... And about 2 yrs ago, I had to have a Lipoma (fatty tumor) removed off of my left inner thigh. Now with that scar on that thigh, I have a double roll. But I guess the roll hides the nasty 5 inch purple scar.......
My best friend had this surgery 2 yrs ago. She lost 230 lbs, and her thighs were hanging terribly. She has started about 3 months ago walking ALOT... She averages 8 miles per day. And miraculously her thighs aren't near as bad as they used to be. Now if she could walk on her hands, maybe it could help her arms...
