morning update for D'Lynn

Hey gang! Just spoke with D'Lynn's hubby and thought I'd update everyone. He said D'Lynn is having some trouble being sick--dry heaves. He said she's had this trouble with every single past surgery she's had...so he doesnt' think it's the WLS specifically. He said it usually takes about 12 hours or more for her to get the meds out of her system, then she usually recovers quickly. The good news is she's not in much pain--a little sore from being sick--and her back hurts a little. The nurses have tried to get her up a few times--but that hasn't went well as she feels sicker when she moves around. Hopefully that will pass today!! I'm going to head down to check on her in a bit--so I'll update again later today and let you know how her afternoon is going. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers today--I know she wants to feel better quickly. Hugs! Michelle

Aww *hugs* for her! I am the same way - lots of nausea with each and every surgery I have ever had. Not much you can do but ride it out. Hope she is feeling better soon.
