Hello. I am 2 months post op. I have lost 45 lbs but seemed to be stalled the last few weeks. I have read that if you are on the smaller side when you have surgery you usually lose slower?? what's up with that? I have only lost 1 lb in the past 2 weeks and I am getting really down about it. I don't eat very much and I go to the gym 3-4 times a week. If you aren't eating enough will that slow your metabolism? I eat 3 very small meals a day and usually no snacks. I still can only eat 1-2 ounces a meal. Any suggestions? ~Bonnie

Bonnie, how are your clothes fitting? If you're getting all that exercise, you could be putting on muscle while you burn fat, but muscle weighs more than fat. That could be what's happening to you. Don't give up! You'll get there, Cheryl

BONNIE: I WOULD SUGGEST TO GET MORE PROTEIN IN AND MAYBE YOU ARE NOT EATING ENOUGH. YES, EATING LESS WILL SLOW METABOLISM AND NOT ENOUGH PROTEIN WILL. ALSO TRY TO DRINK MILK, I HAVE READ THAT WILL HELP IN WEIGHT LOSS. IT LOOKS LIKE YOU HAVE DONE WELL THOUGH GOOD LUCK MARY
