Anyone have trouble knowing when you're full?

I'm a little over 8 months out from surgery, and sometimes I still have trouble telling when I'm full. I think the key for me is to eat slowly and rest a minute or two between bites, once I've had the first few initial ones. Does anyone else still have this problem and what do you do to solve it? Thanks guys! Kelle 488/335/120 (dream weight)

I've been told that eating slower will make you full with less foods - but that we shouldn't eat so slowly that we "graze"......that's a bit hypocritical in my eyes. I'm almost 10 months out and still have "issues" with this and many other things that I thought would be gone by now. I do the best I can.....eat slowly - but at a "reasonable" rate. I have now way of being able to eat any where near what I used to (could that be a combinations of I get tired of food and I get full easily? and that I don't want to put the weight back on EVER!) You're doing a fantastic job Kelle.....do the best you can and keep up the wonderful work you've done so far! Much Dee Dee

I have the same problem, Kelle. I have been feeling rather nauseous after over doing it several times lately. One way I have tried to combat it is by wearing smaller clothes. If I over-eat, my pants feel too tight. At school, I can't unbutton them...but, at home, it doesn't help. If you get new (or used) clothes, get them tight, 'cause you're not going to be able to wear them for long! You've lost 153 LBS!!! Oh my goodness!!! Awesome, Kelle! Hugs, Becky
