March Gathering....

In another thread, a few days ago, I had indicated that it would be great to have the GA gathering for March here in the Athens area. I had also said that I would not mind being involved in the planning of the event. However, situations have arisen here that are going to sort of preclude any involvement on my part for the upcoming month's event. I am not sure if anyone else has already begun to plan an event for March in their own area, and if you have not, please feel free to do so. I would still love to see you all meet up here in north Georgia sometime. Athens is a nice area, home of UGA, and I am sure there are quite a few choice places to hold a gathering. It would be so nice to be involved in the planning in some FUTURE month...but it is just not going to be feasible for me, for March.....so sad to say. I am very disappointed, myself to have to bow out so soon after saying I would do this, but I have no choice. I sincerely apologize. God bless you all! Pat P.S. Don't you worry about it Miz Pat!! We love you and we appreciate that you offered to plan an event to begin with. If we had it in Athens, would you be able to ATTEND? Or are just unable to assist in the planning? If you can attend, I may step up and try to work it out for you.... Let me know. Tami

What a doll you are for offering to do that, girl! But, that is so YOU! Well, you see..that's just the thing, I don't even know at this point that I will be able to attend. There are many obstacles in the road right now, and rather than go into details, I will just say that I can't really plan on it. So, you guys plan the event wherever you want...it would be great for it to be in NE Georgia some time in the not-so-distant future, and if it is, I would love to help out with it. But, as it turns out, March is bad. When I spoke up before about getting involved, I truly thought it would be no problem. I guess I spoke too soon. I am sure that wherever it is, and whoever does it, it will be a great success as always! I always love reading the posts the day after the gatherings and seeing all the pics of everyone.
