One week and counting

I have one week and 1 day before my surgery... March 1st will be here before I know it.. I go and talk to the dr on the 23rd... I'm so excited I have stand myself.. I did want to ask one question.. what was your first week home like.. I just want to kinda know what everyone experience was like when they came home.. Thanks Brandy

My first few days home wer BORING!!!!! My best friend was with me and the only time I got to "do" anything was when she reminded me that I needed to walk....so we'd go for a short walk (get this picture....I just had surgery and she was on crutches with a broken foot!!! what a pair) I finally got tired of sleeping so I made myself get up and do things for myself. I felt human again about the 3rd day home - so she went home. My sister stayed one night with me....and I've been going non-stop since then! Please keep us posted how things go for you!!!! You're in my prayers!!!

hmm I slept a LOT. Then 3 days home I caught some flu virus thing that had be in bed for 3 straight days alternating fever and chills. I was feeling more like myself around day 7 or so. Oh, I also stopped taking the liquid pain med about 2 days home - didn't need it any more.
