pains from eating or drinking??

Hello. I am one month out and anytime I take a sip of liquid or a bite of food I have aching pains in or around my stomach, it's hard to tell exactly where it's coming from. I just don't think this is normal. I am to the point now that I just don't want to eat or drink which I know isn't the answer. I am so tired and dehydrated. My skin is so dried out and my hands are shaky. I finally called my doctor yesterday and he has ordered an upper GI and a small Bowel follow thru for tomorrow morning. Has anyone else had this problem? I am a little nervous because if it is something then they most likely will have to fix it surgically. Any thoughts? ~Bonnie

Bonnie, Sweetie, don't worry, you have done the right thing and the smart thing by calling your surgeon. I'll bet it's nothing that he hasn't seen before. It is probably something quite simple. That is my prayer. Don't worry any more hon, most of the things we lie awake worrying about never happen. I am sure he will fix the problem. Meso
