Hey, Folks, The board's been pretty slow this weekend...hopefully for good reason, Sweeties!!!! DH and I just saw "Hitch," and we BOTH loved it!!! That's very rare! We say "Million Dollar Baby" last weekend. (We go to the matinees. It's cheaper, and my bedtime is around 9:00.) Three Oscar-worthy performances, but I personally, would no****ch it again, even though Morgan Freeman is one of my favorite actors. Hubby would!!! We also saw "Ray" on DVD. Jamie Foxx was incredible!!! It was a little long for me. Hubby loved it so much that he watched all of the extras on the DVD. When I know how a movie ends, my attention span is very limited...loved the music!!! Have you seen any good movies lately??? Inquiring minds want to know! Hugs, Becky

Hi Becky, Yeah, I want to see "Hitch" (have to lose some weight to fit in the seats... oh well......... after surgery) Loved "Ray"! Jamie Foxx has never been better. Never thought of him as a good actor, but he was superb in this movie. Not familiar with "Million Dollar Baby," gotta keep an eye out for that one. Meso

Hi, Meso, I remember cleaning those stinking cup holders with my behind before surgery. It won't be long until you'll be fitting easily. Yay!!! Hugs, Becky

There are several movies that are either coming out on DVD or are possibly still in theaters. National Treasure, Ladder 54, Friday NIght Lights, The Notebook, (Which I just got on DVD last night!!) The ones you've mentioned I haven't seen - but will certainly take the time to see them!!! Dee Dee

We have "Friday Night Lights"...Gregg liked it. I couldn'****ch the whole thing because I can't stand seeing anyone lose. Gregg coached for years...can you imagine my stomach pains??? LOL Since you're a cheerleader girl, you'll probably like it. I really want to see National Treasure and The Notebook. I've heard that both are excellent! Hitch may be one of my all-time favorites! Hubby and I watched National Treasure recently on Pay Per View. It was good! I prefer a romance/love story in general....but this was very interesting and kept me awake for the WHOLE time! LOL! Michelle

I want to see Hitch! It looks so funny! Thanks for the feedback on it. James & I saw Ray. We loved it. I think Jamie Fox did an awesome job. He really became Ray Charles in that movie. Haven't heard much about Million Dollar Baby. We'll have to check that out. Hugs, Tonya

I truly that Jamie Foxx deserves the Oscar. He was amazing!!! The music was incredible, and the way he portrayed the addiction part was also chillingly disturbing. You and James wil love Hitch. I guarantee it! Hugs, Becky

DH took me out last night for my last meal at Carrabas and then to the movies, we were going to see Phantom of the Opera, b/c I really think it should be seen on the big screen, but we didnt get there in time. We wound up instead seeing The Aviator which was really good. I love movies done in other time periods, and I think Cate Blanchett was fabulous at Katherine Hepburn. I too would like to see Hitch and Ray, I here Jamie Foxx is fabulous and I didnt know that he really played the piano. Ray Charles coached him on his playing, how great is that? And I alway melt when he sings Georgia on my Mind. Kelly S

Oh, Kelly, We LOVE Carrabas!!! I have been back there since surgery, and usually have three whole meals from my one entree. The mashed potatoes are the best. When it's just the two of us, we always sit at the side bar, so we don't have to wait on a table. I will definitely see The Aviator...because of Cate Blanchett. I want to see Phantom too! You are on my heart and in my prayers this week. Hugs, Becky
