I came home on Sunday after surgery on Friday - seem to stay cold - can't get warm. It's not even cold out but I'm cold. any suggestions.

I HAD MINE MARCH 3 2004 I WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN EVEN WITH ALL THE COMPLICATIONS I HAVE HAD HOW DID YOUR SURGERY AND DO YOU EVERY GO TO SUPPORT GROUPS I GO TO ONE IN ATLANTA AND I ALSO GO TO ONE AT ROCKDALE HOSPITAL WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO COME IF YOU WOULD LIKE.. DAWN

I had surgery March 31, 2004 and I freeze all the time !!! The only time I'm really warm is when I am in my office at work by myself and I turn up the heat !! Then everyboby that opens the door jumps back and sayes it's hot in here and leaves the door open so it will cool down. At home when I watch tv with my husband , I cover up with a blanket . But it's a small price to pay to be smaller. Good luck , Judy

Welcome to the Polar Bear club! We are always cold post op. I was told that your metabolism slows, because post op, you are getting just a few calories a day. When your metabolism revs up, you get warmer. Sip some hot tea, and turn up the heat. Congratulations on becoming a loser! Roberta
