Further Update ~ Tonya Waters

Hi Yall, I just spoke with Tonya, again, and she is doing OK...sounds really good, too. The only thing is that she is having a hard time with the pain. She says she has a high tolerance to most pain meds, and the pump doesn't seem to be helping her that much. That, along with the muscle spasms is making her sort of miserable right now. However, she says to tell everyone "Hey," and that she misses you. I am not sure about giving her room number here...I would hate for the post to be pulled, but for anyone that would like to call her, she is in Emory Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta. The phone number there is 1-404-686-4411. You may have to wait a minute or two to get through, as every time I have called, there is an automated message, "All of our representatives are busy at the moment....etc." then just ask to be connected to Tonya Waters' room. I know she would love to hear from you guys, as she says she is lonely. She doesn't have any word yet about when she will be coming home...she is hoping her doctor will be in to see her this afternoon. I just wanted to let you know Tonya's doing really well today, and seems to be in good spirits. God bless you all! Pat

I saw Tonya last night just before my hubby and I left the hospital. She was up walking the halls. Hubby had his surgery on Tuesday and is doing GREAT. Anyway..... Tonya looked good but as you said she is dealing with a good bit of pain from the open surgery. Also she was having trouble even getting in one ounce of water because she said it made her feel sick. Hopefully if they get the pain meds right then her problem with water will correct it's self. Both Tonya and my hubby are patients of Dr. Khaitan and had rooms right next to each other.
