Update on Tonya Waters

Hi Everyone, I just spoke to Tonya a minute or so ago. I had called about an hour before, and they didn't have a room number for her yet. She said to tell everyone "Hi" and that she is doing good, just in quite a bit of pain. I am sure that will get better though after they give her something for it. She said she was waiting for them to set up the morphine pump. I didn't keep her on the phone but a minute or two because she sounded exhausted and really tired. But, just wanted you all to know she is on the "losing" side now and doing fine. God bless you all! Pat

Pat, Thanks for the update, I was at Crawford Long when she was having her surgery, I said a special prayer for her. I was getting my last test egd (I think that's what they call it) Dr. Khaitan is my surgeon also, and they told me she couldn't do my test because she was in surgery, I knew she was with Tonya. Dr Khaitan has a great reputation around that hospital and God was watching over her as well so I know she will be fine. I am waiting now for my surgery date so I can be on the losing side with you all. What a great group of people, I don't post often but I read the post all the time. God Bless all of us! Denise D.
