I have a NORMAL heart!!!!!!

Yea!!!! I have a normal heart! My heart cath was today-and the dr. said he saw absolutely NOTHING wrong with my heart. In fact, he said HE'D like to have my heart!! Yaaaa---hoooooo!!!!! I'm FREE to move forward with WLS--and I am CLEARED from my cardiologist. What a relief!!!! They think it's my BIG BOOBS that caused the shadow on the pics. Test wasn't bad--moving slowly tongiht because the darn bandage is pulling my skin. I can remove it tomorrow--and then I'll be a HAPPY CAMPER for sure. A BIG thanks for your thoughts and prayers. I'VE GOT A HEALTHY HEART!!! Big hugs... Michelle

Yeah!!! I went through the same thing... the stress test was 'inconclusive' and suggested some blockage, (same big boob issue) I went through the cath, and everything was completely clear. It's a scary process, but isn't it wonderful to know that everything is really great in that department?! Congratulations... and keep us posted. Blessings to you, Cheryl

Michelle my Bell.....woohoo...I am so glad. I worried about you today. I wasnt sure where you were having the procedure at, but I am so glad you posted when you got home so I would know you are okie. Well now for the next phase...call that psycho...so you can get that behind you and get it going. I will have mine to Amanda by next Friday at the lastest and then on to the insurance company. Hey Michelle, Congratulations on the good news on your heart! Someone should really come up with a new test because that false/postive happens so often with boob shadow. I actually ended up paying more for my heart cath than I did my gastric bypass surgery! At the time I was a little pissed and kinda felt that I had to go through an un necessary procedure but I am still getting benefits from having to do it. Since wls, my cholestrol has greatly improved but my pcp was considering putting me on a med since it was still a little high. He was concerned about the effect it would have on my kidneys and said I wish I could see the inside of your heart. I reminded him about the heart cath the previous summer and so he decided against the med. Good luck with the rest of your journey! Marie
