How long will it take for me to know that I am approved? When should I start calling my insurance co??

Hi, You don't indicate when your paperwork was submitted to your insurance company, but I can tell you that I also have BCBS, and mine was submitted on October 1, 2004. I began calling them after one week had passed and kept doing so every few days until I finally learned on the 18th that they had preapproved me. I have heard that they HAVE to give an answer one way or another within two business weeks. If it has been a week or longer since you submitted your paperwork, I would go ahead and begin to followup with phone calls. Best of luck to you! Pat
