Fruits?
I am hoping to have surgery in June and we always have a bumper crop of watermelons and tomatoes in our garden, and those happen to be my very favorite summertime foods. Will I be able to incorporate them at all into my diet? In fact, how much fruit can one eat since it contains all that yummy natural sugar? Just wondering. Thanks, Susan
Hey Sister Susan....
I tend to stay away from the fruits as of yet. I'm just too afraid of the sugars they are loaded with. I am having to try and push bananas because of my potassium being low, but that has been a struggle for me. It has just been more than I can eat. I have done fine with the tomoatoes though. A little salt and pepper, and I am good to go!
