I owe Tonya an apology!
I should have posted before now...so forgive me for that TOO! I have meant to share with folks that don't already know what a special person Tonya is. At the Atlanta Meeting, *I* was the one who was afraid if I wasn't sitting closer to the front that I might not hear everything with the hearing deficit I have. I had no idea they would announce that when I mentioned it to someone!! Acccckk! Tonya came almost immediately to my rescue. You sweet thang you! and offered her seat. Heck, I was even gonna get to sit beside JAMES! Now THAT's a good person, giving up you seat next to your sweetie! I opted to try to sit with my visiting g/f and as you'll read later ended up right in the front!
Sometimes loud isn't necessarily "clearer" just louder un-understandable, if that makes sense! lol...so when Bo yelled the announcement he said something about the two front seats and I made a bee-line to them. I didn't HEAR the part about them being for Dr. Proctor and staff *blush*. Ha!My g/f came up and told me...I immediately went to Monica and she said "He can sit somewhere else! Don't worry about it!" Haha. Poor Dr. Proctor.
Tonya....thank you so much for your kindness. I appreciate it so much. Consider yourself hugged.
Hey Joyce,
I didn't recognize you until I read this. I'm the bold one who marched up front and told Bo you needed a close seat. Heck, I don't have a hearing problem and never heard him say that was Dr. Proctor's seat. LOL So, I guess he wasn't clear on what he was saying. Hope you enjoyed the event as much as I did. I think I really just enjoyed being around so many great people who've traveled the same journey.
By the way you are sooo right. Tonya is a very very nice person. I feel blessed to have met many wonderful people that weekend.

Haha! I love BOLD in a friend! I remembered as I went in I spoke to someone...but didn't know who! I'm OLD and my memory ain't what it used to be. ;) Thanks so much for your help. Heck, since the meeting I've found out I used Elle's coat while she was out in a another small group. I was absolutely freezing and took her "widdle" coat and wrapped it around my shoulders. I was BOLD enough to beg for warmth! After I got home, like you, it occurred to me who she was! Thanks again!
