My PCP has been so supportive of me since seeing me at almost 500# almost 6 years ago I guess. He's across the street from Kennestone Hospital in Marietta (1/2 mi from I-75 @ Exit 267B).
He's been really great! He's going to try and help me get my PS approved - I told him I was gonna go to him just about every month and the dermatologist just as often. He says "You pay for insurance, you should get the benefit of it". He's written letters for me, and he's just the best!!
Make sure you tell him I sent you - he's the best!

I know how you feel. My PCP who I have seen for years doesnt believe in WLS. So I scheduled an appt with the PCP that my mother and sister see, the PCP had recommended my sister for WLS, so I knew he probably would. I scheduled a complete physical with him and he wrote the letter for me. He is located in Cartersville, he is Dr. Jeffrey Esslinger and he is in the doctors professional building that is attached to the hospital there. His phone # is 770-386-5330.

i live in woodstock, and my dr. is in canton.
dr. donna halley. i LOVE her! she is by the canton hospital. the last time i checked she was taking new patients. the only thing wrong w/ her office is that sometimes you have to wait FOREVER to see her. that is my only problem w/ them. she was my dr before i decided to have wls, i was very nervous to even bring it up because she is very "old fashioned" but was i wrong. she was all for it, and her staff help out in any way.
