Down in the dumps

Ok, so why is it that when we find something that will make us feel better about ourselves and make us look better, the insurance companies decide to take it away? Like good medicine, when you finally find something that works they take it off the shelf. I really wanted this surgery, but now since the insurance companies are dropping coverage for it, I can't afford it on my own. I just want to cry. I have been over weight most all my life...tried diet after diet...and at the highest I have ever been. I HATE this and the way I feel. I have gotten everything done except the pschy eval and nutritionist. Now it looks like I will not have to have it done.

Don't give up. Keep calling them. Have your PCP send a letter to the insurance stating that you have to have this surgery or you won't be around much longer. Call the insurance people and ask what you can do to appeal any decision they make against it. Just don't give up. We are here to help in any way we can. Hugs, Debra =^..^=
