Support Group Macon, Warner Robins

I was wondering if there is a support group that meets in Macon or Warner Robins. Am also trying to find a complete listing of doctors close to me if any one has any ideas. Thanks so much!

Barb, I live in Warner Robins and used are local Drs. My PCP is Titus Taube from Cornerstone Medical Group, My dietician is no longer doing them, sorry. The psych was done by Alan Williams at Mercer Health. My Cardio was done by Central GA Cardiology, Dr Kazi and Dr Saeed. Last but not least my pulmonologist was Dr. Rymuza. Good luck. Have any questions there is about 10 of us that I know from this board that can pool are resources together to find ya someone. Lynn

Hi Barb, I am in Macon also. My PCP here in Macon is Dr. Jason Woods, and he has been very helpful in my process of getting approved for my surgery. I used Dr. John Daly in Atlanta for my WLS, and am very impressed with his work. I also used Central GA Cardiology (Dr. Thomas Terry) for my cardiology work up. Dr. James Warren for my Psych eval, and Dr. Fackler for my GI doc. I didn't need a pulmonologist. It is my intention to start going to the MininMee's support group meetings in WR. I was gonna go to the last one but was unable to make it to that one due to a previous engagement. Good Luck to you in your pursuit of this wonderful weight loss tool (The surgery).
