Anyone in Savannah/Ft. Stewart?

Hi everyone! My husband has a date set for when he has to report to duty. We have to be at Ft. Stewart on Feb. 5th and he has to report at 7:30am. Does anyone live in Savannah or near the base that can recommend a hotel/motel that is reasonably priced and located? Since we live so far away, we are going to come the night before. Any suggestions is greatly recommended. Thanks, Kim

Hey! I'm right down the road from there. THey have a comfort suites and a holiday inn express that are fairly new and close to eating places that a lot of military people use so I'm pretty sure they offer military discounts too. Hi I live in Savannah, they have alot of motols in 204 which is hwy 95 its probaly about 30 minutes from Ft Stewart. I know they have a Shoneys inn, Hampton inn and a few others. Ress are Ruby Tuesday, Crackerbarrel, of course shoneys, McDonalds.

I live in Richmond Hill which is one of the main exits off I-95 going into Ft Stewart(exit 90) and we have lots of motels at decent rates at our other exit which is exit 87. Our city is small and has great schools so a lot of military end up buying or renting houses here. There is a Walmart about 5 miles from the motel area and several restaurants right by the motels. You have your choice of the following: Days Inn Royal Inn Travel Lodge Econo Lodge Holiday Inn Scottish Inn Hampton Inn and Motel 6 Hinesville is another place that you can stay and is a closer to base but is a larger city depending on what you are looking for.
