Hey, Ya'll! I had my seven month check up today...was supposed to be six months, but I had to miss that one. I was sooooo afraid that I would be in trouble for not losing enough...was really sick all day! My students have a new appreciation for when Mrs. Farmer eats peanuts. It was just a few!!! Dr. Fields was very nice. Little drum roll... I have lost 75 pounds. The doctor said she thinks that I will eventually make the century club. I asked her if she could write one of those OFFICIAL doctor's notes, so that I could be included in the the century celebrations and posts online, but she seemed to think I will really make it be my year anniversary. If we can pretend on our driver's license, why not here??? Right??? So what, if I won't be able to sleep because of the deception. Okay Folks, I have not weighed below 150 in over 15 years. I asked if surgery involving the removal of excess skin would count, and she said yes. Whose going to pay for it??? Let us pray! I may need a lot of guidance to get insurance approval. Love, Becky Oh, yeah, I got another B12 shot today. I'm ready for the WEEKEND!!!

Becky, I think that you look wonderful, the weight loss is great! I am right there with you on the on the Plastic Sugery, I have already been told that I have about 10lbs of excess skin. Start documenting any rashes or redness or itching now, this was my mistake, and the Ins has already denied me once, now I need to problably start making stuff up, to try and get it approved, or I need to start saving my money! Good luck with everything! Cathy

HI, Dear Cathy, When I saw you at the Mexican party get-together, I thought, that may be me some day...witrhout the pretty face. I am definitely not there yet. I've already started kidding my very broke hubby about paying for the surgery after he finishes this degree. Maybe, this is a sign that the Lord wants me to start teaching college at night again to fund it. Right now, I am really too tired. Let's hope that insurance helps us both. Rashes are NOT a problem with my particular profession...but getting the right diagnosis may be tricky. Come stay with me a few days, and we can get some killer rashes. Right now, we've got fifth's disease and hand, foot, and mouth going around. Okay, we need a tummy one. Love, Becky P.S. One of my son's friends is the daughter of a plastic surgeon. She said that he throws in boob augmentations with lower body lifts. Have you heard of such a thing? I think she may have been trying to be agreeable.

Becky, You will get there! I remember all of the times that I felt I wasn't losing enough or I would plateau, I would tell myself, well this is it and I could be happy at this weight. Slowly but surely it all came off. You are too funny about the rashes, I even had one person tell me to put dish detergent on my tummy to give me a rash and then go to the doctor to have it documented! I think that I have reached a point where if it happens it happens, sure I would love to have all this skin gone, but the thought of going through such MAJOR surgery again, makes me think twice. My boys went through so much with my previous surgeries, that I find it hard to justify doing it again at this time. But then I think, when will it ever be a good time? SEE, I'M A MESS!!!! Have a Great Day!! Cathy
